Description For Product Manager II, Core Data

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

The Core Data org in Core Systems is building Google's next generation data infrastructure and solutions to power 1P products. Our org, which has deep roots in Search and Ads, builds Google's core systems that enable developers across Google to quickly and easily develop and scale new products and features.

As a Product Manager II in the Core Data team, you'll be responsible for understanding markets, competition, and user requirements in depth. You'll launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly. Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll work with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting-edge technologies. You'll also develop solutions to problems by collaborating across regions, product areas, and functions.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role, and 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business-related field, experience in business functions, technical presentations, software development, and cross-functional collaboration.
