Description For Product Manager II, Search

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

In this role, you will be a crucial advocate for Japan's needs across the Search Verticals and International (SVI) team. You will proactively identify, advocate, and shape features that benefit Japanese users, even those outside your immediate technical expertise. You will collaborate extensively with colleagues globally to build a Search experience that is both cohesive and uniquely tailored to Japan.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role, and 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. Knowledge of Japanese culture, consumer behavior, and language is preferred, along with the ability to communicate fluently in Japanese.

  • Knowledge of Japanese culture, consumer behavior, and language (preferred)
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently (preferred)
  • Experience working with designers
  • Ability to work and deliver with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent business and technical communication skills
