Product Manager, Secret Manager

Google Cloud is seeking a Product Manager to lead their Secret Manager and Parameter Manager products within their Cloud Security portfolio. This role combines technical product management with security expertise, focusing on protecting and managing sensitive information for Google Cloud customers.

The position requires a strategic mind who can bridge technical complexity with business needs, bringing extensive experience in cloud security, particularly in areas like secret management, IAM, and compliance. You'll be responsible for driving the evolution of critical security products that serve customers across 200+ countries.

As the product owner, you'll shape the roadmap for both Secret Manager and the developing Parameter Manager, ensuring they meet the highest security standards while maintaining user-friendly interfaces. The role demands a deep understanding of cloud computing, security principles, and secret management concepts, including encryption technologies like CMEK.

Your responsibilities will span from strategic planning to hands-on product development, requiring collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams. You'll need to balance technical requirements with business objectives, making data-driven decisions that enhance product adoption and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of product management experience, with particular expertise in security products and cloud platforms. You'll need to demonstrate success in taking technical products from conception to launch, understanding complex security requirements, and driving adoption of cloud security solutions.
