Google Cloud is seeking a Product Manager for their Secret Manager product, focusing on cloud security and data protection. The position involves leading the development and growth of security-focused products, particularly the Parameter Manager, while working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.

Responsibilities For Product Manager, Secret Manager

  • Develop and advocate a clear product vision that aligns with customer needs and Google Cloud's strategic goals
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategy
  • Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap, outlining key features, enhancements, and integrations
  • Make data-driven decisions on feature prioritization, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
  • Drive market adoption by collaborating with sales, CEs and marketing

Requirements For Product Manager, Secret Manager

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements related to data security and residency
  • Experience with cloud platforms and related technologies
  • Experience developing/launching products/technologies within security, privacy, or related area
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Understanding of cloud computing, security principles, and secret management concepts
  • Familiarity with secret rotation, data integrity, and audit logging
