Description For Product Manager, User Generated Content

At Google, we're seeking a Product Manager to lead the evolution of our User-Generated Content (UGC) motivation system for Google Maps. This role is crucial in shaping how we incentivize and reward users for their contributions to Google Maps, focusing on building lasting habits and transforming casual contributors into active community members. The Geo team, which powers products like Maps, Earth, and Street View, serves over a billion users monthly and is dedicated to building the world's most accurate and comprehensive mapping system.

As a Product Manager, you'll work at the intersection of technical and business domains, guiding products from conception to launch. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, Research, and Engineering to reimagine user motivation systems. The role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.

The position offers the opportunity to impact millions of users worldwide through Google Maps' UGC features like Reviews, Videos, and Photos.
