Responsibilities For Product Manager, YouTube Create

  • Define the goals (metrics) and strategy for areas working with UXR, UXD and Engineering to define a roadmap
  • Develop knowledge of the needs of video creators and video editing
  • Partner with other teams including YouTube's ACE, Shorts and Create Studio
  • Design and implement the plan for taking the YouTube Create app from thousands to millions of users
  • Partner with various teams to introduce generative video and video editing capabilities
  • Partner with YouTube Shorts to deliver trending music to YouTube Create users
  • Work with YouTube creators and understand how we can help them succeed

Requirements For Product Manager, YouTube Create

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management
  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products
  • Experience in video editing and building mobile products (preferred)
  • Experience in developing applications (preferred)
  • Experience in acquisition, adoption, retention metrics and strategies (preferred)
  • Understanding of metrics and tactics that track and inform product market fit (preferred)
  • Ability to operate in a fluid, constantly evolving and collaborative environment (preferred)
  • Excellent investigative, communication, presentation and data driven skills (preferred)
