Responsibilities For Product Manager, YouTube Shopping Knowledge Platform

  • Power YouTube Shopping across viewers, creators and merchants based in Bengaluru
  • Take complex unstructured product catalogs from merchants and synthesize them for serving users like creators for tagging in their content and viewers for buying
  • Work with multiple commerce teams within YouTube and Google. Solve the problem across platforms
  • Enable YouTube Shopping teams to be data driven by democratizing access to metrics and driving a culture of experimentation
  • Figure out new ways to instrument transaction metrics, visualizing shopping funnels, enabling the wider organization access to data and deliver insights

Requirements For Product Manager, YouTube Shopping Knowledge Platform

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in product management
  • Experience developing Internet products and technologies
  • 7 years of experience in product management or related technical role (preferred)
  • Experience building technical platform products (preferred)
  • Experience working for an e-commerce company (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional role (preferred)
  • English proficiency
