Description For Product Quality Engineer, Google Cloud

Google is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives for their cutting-edge AI infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring the flawless operation of Google's AI infrastructure, spanning the entire product life-cycle from initial concept through volume production and end-of-life. The position focuses on hardware systems including advanced AI and computer systems, networking equipment, and data storage solutions.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams to integrate quality at every stage of product development and work closely with manufacturing partners to establish robust, repeatable, and scalable processes. The position offers a competitive base salary range of $111,000-$163,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The successful candidate will join Google's Technical Infrastructure team, which is responsible for building and maintaining the architecture that powers Google's extensive product portfolio.

Requirements For Product Quality Engineer, Google Cloud

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience working in computing hardware quality, product engineering, or electronic hardware systems issue resolution
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization using SQL, JMP, or Python
  • Experience working with reliability and quality test data or manufacturing execution systems
