Product Quality Engineer, Pixel Phone

Google's Devices & Services team is seeking a Product Quality Engineer for their Pixel Phone division. This role combines Google's expertise in AI, Software, and Hardware to create innovative user experiences. As a Product Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for evaluating product designs and creating quality processes to enhance customer experience through improved manufacturing quality. You'll work with Product Management, Design, System Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.

The role involves defining and implementing phone product specifications, managing quality excellence, addressing supplier quality issues, and participating in design reviews. You'll be part of Google's powerful computing infrastructure team, ensuring manufacturing processes are repeatable and controlled.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in product quality development, manufacturing engineering, and consumer electronics. Knowledge of Six Sigma, quality control systems, and mechanical/electrical design principles is essential. You'll work in Hanoi, Vietnam, contributing to Google's mission of organizing world's information and making it universally accessible.
