Responsibilities For Product Safety Test Engineer

  • Conduct daily Product Safety testing on large teams with emphasis on collaboration and teamwork
  • Prepare, exercise, and configure equipment under test and record test data in accordance with industry standards
  • Analyze test data, perform calculations, and prepare documentation. Maintain in-house test labs and product technical files
  • Oversee Safety Lab test equipment and fixtures by assuring all equipment is operational and calibrations are current
  • Support testing at third-party test labs

Requirements For Product Safety Test Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, System Power, Audio/DSP), or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience working in a data center environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
  • Experience with IEC 62368-1 and related Safety standards
  • Experience with Product Safety Lab environments
