Description For Program Manager AI Developer Relations

Google is seeking a Program Manager for AI Developer Relations to bridge the gap between Google and the developer community, specifically focusing on AI initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with program management to scale AI programs and work closely with product and engineering teams. The position is based in São Paulo, Brazil, and requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, community management, and program coordination skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in program management and community engagement, with a strong foundation in technical concepts. You'll be responsible for managing various programs including feedback systems, early access initiatives, and developer relations roadmaps across multiple AI products. The role involves significant interaction with partners, developers, and Google Developer Experts, requiring excellent communication and presentation skills.

Key aspects of the role include facilitating advisory board meetings, coordinating product previews with trusted partners, and revamping Special Interest Groups (SIGs) programs to align with the current AI landscape. You'll also be responsible for community programs and engagement initiatives specifically in the Latin America (LATAM) region.

Responsibilities For Program Manager AI Developer Relations

  • Create, execute and maintain feedback programs, early access programs and developer relations roadmaps across multiple AI products
  • Create programs to facilitate advisory board meetings and open design meetings with partners and developers
  • Facilitate product previews to trusted partners
  • Revamp the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) program adjusting it to current AI landscape and business goals
  • Own and facility community programs, partner outreach, events and engagement initiatives in Latin America (LATAM)

Requirements For Program Manager AI Developer Relations

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • 2 years of experience in community management, social media or open source contributions
  • Ability to engage and facilitate technical presentations at events
  • Ability to engage with diverse disciplines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills
  • English proficiency is required
