Description For Program Manager, Environmental Health and Safety

Google Data Centers (GDC) is seeking a Program Manager for Environmental Health and Safety to join their team. This role is crucial in managing the EHS program that ensures compliance and safety excellence in data center operations. The position offers a competitive salary range of $99,000-$145,000 plus benefits, bonus, and equity.

As a Program Manager, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders across different offices, time zones, and hemispheres. You'll be responsible for coordinating with project managers, maintaining PMO standards, and ensuring projects meet quality standards while staying within budget and timeline.

The role requires someone with a bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of program management experience, along with expertise in Environmental, Health and Safety. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, PMP certification, and CSP certification. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.

You'll be part of Google's Technical Infrastructure team, which builds and maintains the architecture behind all Google products. The team takes pride in being the engineers' engineers, focusing on keeping networks running optimally for the best user experience.

Requirements For Program Manager, Environmental Health and Safety

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of program management experience
  • Experience with Environmental, Health and Safety
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (preferred)
  • Certification in Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) or equivalent (preferred)
  • Ability in collaboration, project management and communication skills (preferred)
