Google Data Centers (GDC) is seeking a Program Manager for Environmental Health and Safety to join their Technical Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in managing one of the largest computing infrastructures globally, focusing on environmental, health, and safety excellence in data center operations. The position involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects, working with stakeholders across offices and time zones, and ensuring compliance and safety standards in data center design, construction, and operations. The role offers competitive compensation ($99,000-$145,000) plus benefits, equity, and bonus opportunities. Responsibilities For Program Manager, Environmental Health and Safety
- Collaborate on maintaining PMO standards and project governance
- Develop and manage projects with support from executive team members
- Track and report on project progress and improve project management processes
- Provide training and support to project managers to ensure projects meet the required quality standards
- Own content for assigned templates business reporting decks
Requirements For Program Manager, Environmental Health and Safety
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 1 year of program management experience
- Experience in Environmental, Health and Safety
- Experience with stakeholder management
- Master's degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (preferred)
- Certification in Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate, with project management and communication skills (preferred)
