Description For Program Manager, Environmental Health & Safety, Technical Infrastructure

Google Data Centers (GDC) is seeking a Program Manager for Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to join their Technical Infrastructure team. This role is crucial in managing one of the largest computing infrastructures globally. As part of the Data Center EHS team, you'll be responsible for supporting EHS programs including management system implementation, environmental compliance, and health & safety programs.

The role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure all EHS issues are identified and addressed, while providing program leadership for new and critical EHS initiatives. You'll be part of the Technical Infrastructure team that builds and maintains Google's data centers and platforms, ensuring networks run smoothly for the best user experience.

Requirements For Program Manager, Environmental Health & Safety, Technical Infrastructure

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience in program or project management
  • 1 year of experience with managing Environmental Health and Safety Programs
  • 1 year of experience with Environmental and Safety Compliance
  • Certified Safety Professional certification from Board of Certified Safety Professionals or equivalent agency (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
  • Experience in designing and implementing systems to manage Environmental Health and Safety operational risks (preferred)
