Description For Program Manager II, Digital Content, Google Data Centers

Google's Data Center team is seeking a Digital Content Program Manager to lead the transformation and scaling of next-generation digital content for Data Center Operations and Maintenance. This role involves working with New Product Development teams to deliver high-quality technical documentation to end users in user-friendly digital formats. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the world's most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems.

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders across offices, time zones, and hemispheres. You'll be responsible for planning requirements, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and maintaining clear communication with cross-functional partners.

  • Work with data center end users to identify needs and pain points with digital content utilization and user experience improvements
  • Establish digital content, including system manuals, vendor training materials, warranties, and their related processes and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional data center partner teams to establish digital content related end-to-end processes
  • Ensure operations requirements are being addressed at the canonical product development stage
  • Develop workflows, means and methods to improve digital content utilization effectiveness and efficiency

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
