Google is seeking a Program Manager II for Materials Management in Technical Infrastructure to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. This role focuses on ensuring supply chain readiness for multiple programs, with emphasis on cost optimization, multi-sourcing, and material readiness for product builds. Responsibilities For Program Manager II, Materials Management, Technical Infrastructure
- Create and implement new processes centered around material management, lead time reduction, PO placements, and risk buy
- Drive material and supply chain readiness for all NPI builds from concept phase through End-of-Life
- Serve as the primary materials liaison with Suppliers, manage spend against project budgets, and manage production risk buys and strategic buffers
- Identify and communicate supply chain risks and mitigation plans to ensure materials readiness for production builds
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and conduct regular physical inventory counts
Requirements For Program Manager II, Materials Management, Technical Infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience in program or project management
- Experience with Supply Chain Operations and Materials Management
