Description For Program Manager II, Software Engineering, Search

As a Program Manager II in Software Engineering for Search, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company. You'll coordinate players and keep them updated on progress and deadlines, often spanning offices, time zones, and hemispheres. Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and delivering predictable program communication plans
  2. Determining phasing and metrics for program life-cycle
  3. Executing data collection and maintenance for program governance

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 2 years of experience in program or project management, and experience working with software engineering teams on user-facing products. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience managing cross-functional projects and program management experience in engineering, focusing on front-end development or UX engineering.
