Google's Technical Infrastructure team is seeking a Program Manager II to join their Supply Chain division. This role is crucial in developing and executing materials plans, enabling prototype builds, and driving production ramp plans for products deployed in data centers. The position involves working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Supply and Demand Planning, Contract Manufacturing, and Supplier partners to launch new products and implement scalable processes.

The Technical Infrastructure team is the backbone of Google's product portfolio, responsible for developing and maintaining data centers and building next-generation Google platforms. They ensure networks run optimally, providing users with the best and fastest experience possible. The team takes pride in being the engineers' engineers and approaches challenges with hands-on problem-solving.

As a Program Manager, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating with stakeholders across offices, time zones, and hemispheres. The role requires strong project management skills, including planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying risks, and maintaining clear communication with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities For Program Manager II, Supply Chain, Technical Infrastructure

  • Drive material and supply chain readiness for all NPI builds from concept phase to production handoff
  • Identify and communicate supply chain risks and mitigation plans
  • Manage spend against project budgets, and drive production risk buys, and strategic buffers
  • Develop and document global supply chain map for each product
  • Update project schedules, communicate status, risks, and represent the New Product Introduction Supply Chain organization

Requirements For Program Manager II, Supply Chain, Technical Infrastructure

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management
  • Experience in supply chain and materials management
  • MS/MA or MBA in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Research (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects (preferred)
  • Experience working in hardware and contract manufacturing (preferred)
  • Experience working across all phases of a product from prototype to mass production to end of life (preferred)
  • Experience with Supply and Demand Planning, and Accounting or Finance (preferred)
