Description For Regional Electrical Engineer

Google's Data Center Engineering team is at the forefront of technological innovation, focusing on the physical design and future of data centers. As a Regional Electrical Engineer, you'll be part of a research and development-style environment where cutting-edge strategies are developed and tested. The role involves tackling complex challenges related to power usage and running environmentally-friendly facilities. You'll work with a team of experts to optimize efficiencies, generate innovative ideas, and communicate recommendations to senior executives.

Responsibilities For Regional Electrical Engineer

  • Provide and prepare documents including scope of works, engineering analysis, design and review, engineering work demarcations, specifications and documentation, facility audits, commissioning support, site inspections and work acceptance
  • Be involved in the development of electrical related infrastructures in data center projects from site evaluations to final turnover, and modifications to existing infrastructures

Requirements For Regional Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in data center electrical design, construction, and operation
  • Experience in interdisciplinary engineering co-ordination
  • Experience in mechanical infrastructure systems, data center architecture, fire engineering, or technical infrastructure (preferred)
