Description For Regional Operations Manager, Trust and Safety Compute (Vietnamese, English)

Google's Trust & Safety team is at the forefront of protecting users across all Google products. This role focuses on managing Trust and Safety operations for the APAC region, specifically for Google Play and Android platforms. As a Regional Operations Manager, you'll lead policy-related issue resolutions, manage escalations, and work on process improvements to ensure a safe app experience. The position requires strong leadership in cross-functional collaboration with teams including Play Partnerships, Policy, Operations, Engineering, Product, Government Affairs, and Legal teams.

The role combines technical oversight with policy implementation, requiring both operational excellence and strategic thinking. You'll be responsible for representing the APAC region in global discussions, gathering stakeholder feedback, and implementing strategies to improve Google Play's safety and policy enforcement. The position offers the opportunity to directly impact Google's user trust and safety initiatives while working with diverse teams across multiple regions.

This is an ideal role for someone with experience in Trust and Safety or content moderation, who can bridge technical understanding with policy implementation. You'll need to be fluent in both Vietnamese and English, as you'll be managing communications and policy in the region. Responsibilities For Regional Operations Manager, Trust and Safety Compute (Vietnamese, English)

  • Lead the resolutions of various policy related issues for Trust and Safety (T&S) Play and Android Operations in the region
  • Manage escalations, and deliver process improvement to mitigate future risks
  • Deliver cross-functional projects collaborating with teams across various regions
  • Represent Asia Pacific (APAC) region to gather stakeholder feedback for Google Play Policies and Operations
  • Lead policy education for developers in the region and improve the presence and influence of Google Play

Requirements For Regional Operations Manager, Trust and Safety Compute (Vietnamese, English)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in Trust and Safety, policy, business operations, content moderations or related fields
  • Ability to communicate in Vietnamese and English fluently
  • Knowledge of content moderation, development operations, policy enforcement, customer support or policy creation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
