Description For Regulatory Program Manager II

Google is seeking a Regulatory Program Manager II to join their Trust & Safety team, which is dedicated to making the internet safer. This role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects across offices and time zones, working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, and identify risks. The position offers a competitive base salary range of $105,000-$154,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of program management experience, with a strong background in project planning, execution, and stakeholder management. They will be responsible for managing project goals, collaborating with team members, conducting risk assessments, and establishing processes to ensure work alignment with compliance and privacy policies.

Google's Trust & Safety team comprises diverse experts including Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers who work together to combat abuse across all Google products. The team focuses on addressing challenges such as malware, spam, and account hijacking, protecting users, advertisers, and publishers globally in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities For Regulatory Program Manager II

  • Manage an overview of project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, and to communicate plans and coordinate resources
  • Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact
  • Complete risk identification and risk assessment activities and mitigation plans in addition to monitoring foreseeable risk
  • Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, hold stakeholders/teams accountable for following the established processes

Requirements For Regulatory Program Manager II

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management
  • 3 years of experience in project management, including planning, execution, estimation, risk management, and stakeholder management
