Description For Search Product Support Engineer, Product Center of Excellence

Google Cloud's Professional Services team is seeking a Search Product Support Engineer to join their Product Center of Excellence. This role combines technical expertise in cloud security with customer-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for professionals passionate about both technology and customer success.

As a Security Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of helping businesses navigate their cloud journey using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your role will involve providing technical guidance on secure cloud implementations, automated provisioning, and cloud-ready architectures. You'll work directly with senior leadership, including CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs, making this position highly visible and impactful.

The role requires a strong foundation in computer science and practical experience in cloud security. You'll be responsible for managing customer relationships, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and driving product adoption. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while contributing to Google Cloud's mission of accelerating digital transformation across industries.

Responsibilities For Search Product Support Engineer, Product Center of Excellence

  • Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey
  • Apply deep product expertise solving complex technical customer issues and escalations
  • Analyze data and generate insights to create action plans to solve issues at the root cause
  • Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to improve customer journey and resolve complex issues
  • Be responsible for development, maintenance, and delivery of knowledge management resources and training programs

Requirements For Search Product Support Engineer, Product Center of Excellence

Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions
  • Experience with network security, data security and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Experience managing internal or external customer-facing projects to completion while working with cross functional teams
  • Experience in Cloud Security delivered within the context of customer-facing roles (preferred)
  • Experience securing Google Cloud or other cloud environments (preferred)
  • Experience in security architecture or security engineering (preferred)
  • Experience implementing FedRAMP, PCI or HIPAA security requirements in a cloud environment (preferred)
  • Experience understanding attacks and mitigation methods in multiple security areas (preferred)
