Google Cloud Product Security Engineering (PSE) is a critical team responsible for ensuring the security of all Google Cloud products. As a Security Analyst in the PSE team, you'll play a vital role in driving product security strategy and solving large-scale infrastructure security challenges. The position offers an opportunity to work with various teams across Google, including security, privacy, and engineering teams.

The role involves using security expertise and analytical skills to deliver insights that reduce risk for Cloud products and supporting infrastructure. You'll be responsible for providing deep insights on security risk trends, implementing systematic remediations, and measuring the effectiveness of Cloud hardening initiatives.

Responsibilities For Security Analyst, Product Security Engineering, Cloud CISO

  • Produce metrics to measure security control adoption and effectiveness
  • Drive impact across multiple aspects of security remediations and hardening
  • Understand risk and propose improvements to security policies
  • Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes and timelines, and manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Perform data analysis to generate risk trends

Requirements For Security Analyst, Product Security Engineering, Cloud CISO

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in security operation
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in operational security risk assessments or vulnerability assessment
  • 2 years of experience in incident analysis, malware research, SOC, or any other similar incident response experience (preferred)
