Google Cloud is seeking a Security Engineer specializing in Hardware/Firmware to join their team in Munich, Germany. This role is crucial for maintaining the security of Google's data center infrastructure. The position involves performing security reviews of platforms and components destined for Google data centers, developing threat models, and investigating security properties in Hardware and Firmware.

As a Security Engineer, you'll be part of Google's Security team, working to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. You'll collaborate with network equipment, actively monitor systems for attacks and intrusions, and work alongside software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

The role requires a strong background in security engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in security assessments, design reviews, and threat modeling. You should be proficient in C programming and have experience with hardware/firmware systems programming. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive security reviews, developing threat models, and providing expert guidance to teams working on next-generation data center hardware.
