Responsibilities For Security Engineer, Silicon

  • Conduct offensive security (red teaming) activities including vulnerability discovery, exploit development, mitigation recommendations
  • Perform design reviews, threat modeling and security assessments
  • Identify vulnerabilities via static, dynamic analysis (fuzzing), formal analysis and reverse engineering
  • Apply system level knowledge of software and hardware security to improve overall system security and attack resistance
  • Analyze root cause of the security issues, develop exploits, recommend mitigation strategies

Requirements For Security Engineer, Silicon

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in pen testing, vulnerability research or code-level security auditing
  • Experience in one or more coding languages (e.g., C, C++) and scripting
