Key responsibilities include:
- Performing complex data analyses to identify harmful entities, design metrics, examine trends, and identify system vulnerabilities.
- Analyzing potentially malicious websites and software to understand their behavior and impact on users.
- Collaborating with cross-functional groups to improve system accuracy, fix product loopholes, and enhance user experience.
- Understanding Google's product policy, enforcement, and risk strategy to identify successes, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Working with sensitive content, which may involve exposure to graphic, controversial, or upsetting topics.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 1 year of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data
- 1 year of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
- Interest in internet security, phishing, malware, or related topics
