Security Engineering Manager

Google is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to lead a team of security engineers and analysts working on building threat and abuse detection solutions for Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires 10 years of technical experience in areas such as cloud security research, network security, intrusion detection systems, and threat intelligence. The ideal candidate will have experience leading Security Engineering teams in the Cloud Security domain and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

As a Security Engineering Manager, you will:

• Manage and inspire a team of security engineers and analysts
• Set direction and goals for solving Google-wide security problems
• Collaborate with partner teams to achieve shared objectives
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in abuse detection
• Build the team through personal growth and recruitment

You'll work within Google Cloud, which accelerates organizations' digital transformation by leveraging cutting-edge technology and tools. Your team will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers.

Key responsibilities include:
