Google is seeking a Security Engineering Manager for their Abuse Vulnerability Rewards Program (VRP). The position focuses on navigating the evolving landscape of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) vulnerabilities, developing strategies and solutions to mitigate risks, and ensuring the responsible development and deployment of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
As a Security Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of technical professionals supporting both the Abuse VRP and the GenAI VRP. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing a comprehensive GenAI VRP program, developing clear guidelines and reward structures, and engaging with various teams to align priorities and establish a shared understanding of VRP's role in mitigating security risks.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in security, with at least 8 years of experience in security assessments, design reviews, or threat modeling. You should also have 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, including 2 years in people management. Experience with AI systems, Python coding in production environments, and managing bug bounties is preferred.
