Google is seeking a Security Engineering Manager for Operational Technology in their Cloud CISO organization. This role is part of the Product Security Engineering team, specifically within the Operational Technology (OT) Security team. The position focuses on ensuring the security of Google's data center products and architectures, particularly in the realm of operational technology and industrial control systems (ICS).
Key responsibilities include managing cross-organizational security projects, conducting comprehensive security assessments, working with ICS/OT devices and networks, researching new security technologies, and developing remediation roadmaps. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security engineering, coding, and leadership in technical risk analysis.
The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in various aspects of security engineering and leadership. The position offers a competitive salary range of $237,000-$337,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

Responsibilities For Security Engineering Manager, Operational Technology, Cloud CISO
- Manage and influence cross-organizational programs and stakeholders to land security projects for Industrial Controls Systems/Operational Technology environments
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of existing ICS/OT environments to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and non-compliance with Google standards
- Work with ICS/OT devices, networks, and applications to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Research and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the ICS/OT security program
- Develop and implement a prioritized roadmap for remediation, aligning with business objectives
Requirements For Security Engineering Manager, Operational Technology, Cloud CISO
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols
- 10 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages
- 10 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling
- 10 years of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment
- Experience with operational technology and industrial controls systems
