The role involves working on cutting-edge projects spanning climate mitigation and adaptation, including GreenLight (optimizing traffic lights to reduce emissions), methane leak detection, flood forecasting, wildfire boundary tracking, post-disaster damage assessment (SKAI), food security, and weather predictions (Oya). You'll also support horizontal efforts such as geo foundational models and Mmeka for globally mapping buildings and fields.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business problems into actionable analytical solutions. Your expertise in Python, SQL, and statistical analysis will be crucial in designing and implementing sophisticated models to address climate-related challenges.
