Senior Data Scientist, Research, Workspace

Google's Workspace Data Science team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision making for products like Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Vids. The position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $150,000-$223,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineers, Product Managers, and Marketing teams to shape Google's business and technical strategies.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in analytics and data science, with strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL. A Master's degree in a quantitative field is required, with a PhD preferred. You'll be working on consumer-facing technical products, requiring both technical expertise and business acumen.

Your responsibilities will span from stakeholder collaboration and problem definition to sophisticated data analysis and model development. You'll own the entire data pipeline, from gathering and validating data to delivering actionable insights.
