Responsibilities For Senior Design Automation CAD Engineer, Silicon

  • Develop front-end CAD tools and flows for Google Silicon SoC projects in various domains (RTL generation, design verification, AI-enabled CAD flows, design QA and release management, license operation and optimization, etc.)
  • Work with design teams to understand requirements and enable scalable solutions
  • Work across functional domains to enable development and validation of CAD flows
  • Drive EDA vendors to improve their tools to deliver custom solutions for Google

Requirements For Senior Design Automation CAD Engineer, Silicon

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and flows and electronic design automation (EDA) tools and methodologies
  • 5 years of industry experience in VLSI design
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Shell, or Python
  • Experience with front-end design tools, such as lint, CDC, RDC, or simulation tools
