Responsibilities For Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Audio, Pixel Buds

  • Work with Audio Algorithm and DSP Software teams to create prototypes of new experiences for testing and for early integration proof of concepts
  • Work with System Software and Audio Systems teams to ensure integration of new algorithms or components is smooth
  • Work with Hardware Validation teams to debug integration problems and test new features as they are being tested
  • Help drive bug triage and fixes for development and production devices

Requirements For Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Audio, Pixel Buds

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with software development in C or C++ programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
  • 3 years of experience working with low power embedded audio processors
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
  • 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
