Responsibilities For Senior Hardware Engineer, Display Test Calibration

  • Work with device and product teams to understand panel display requirements
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement new test strategies and techniques
  • Devise and model multiple approaches to panel test system design and evaluate tradeoffs
  • Design and develop algorithms for display calibration
  • Create prototypes to evaluate capabilities and limitations
  • Work with test engineering team and external partners to transform prototypes into production-worthy tools

Requirements For Senior Hardware Engineer, Display Test Calibration

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience developing display test acquisition systems
  • Experience with tools and techniques for display calibration metrology
  • Experience with optical and electrical system tradeoffs
  • Experience with software development, programming skills, CUDA, C++, and Python
  • Experience creating optical and opto-electric prototypes of metrology systems
  • Experience with metrology system development and roll-out to production
  • Experience with embedded systems and calibration for AR/VR devices
