As a Senior Hardware Engineer in Display Test Calibration, you'll be instrumental in developing and improving techniques for microLED display panel optical test and calibration.

The role offers a comprehensive compensation package including a competitive base salary range of $142,000-$211,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Located in Fremont, CA, you'll be working in a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab facility in Silicon Valley.

Your responsibilities will span the entire cycle of test system design, from understanding product requirements to transforming prototypes into production-worthy systems. You'll collaborate with various engineering teams, design algorithms for display calibration, and ensure delivery of high-quality user experiences.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in display test acquisition systems, with strong expertise in optical and electrical system tradeoffs. A background in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is essential, along with programming skills in languages like Python.

  • Work with device and product teams to understand panel display requirements
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement new test strategies and techniques
  • Devise and model multiple approaches to panel test system design and evaluate tradeoffs
  • Design and develop algorithms for display calibration
  • Create prototypes to evaluate capabilities and limitations
  • Work with test engineering team and external partners to transform prototypes into production-worthy tools

Requirements For Senior Hardware Engineer, Display Test Calibration

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience developing display test acquisition systems
  • Experience with tools and techniques for display calibration metrology
  • Experience with optical and electrical system tradeoffs
  • Experience describing capabilities and limitations to the organization
