Google's Platforms Infrastructure Engineering team is seeking a Senior Hardware Validation Engineer to join their design and validation team. The role requires a strong background in hardware systems design and testing, with hands-on experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERTs, and analyzers. You'll be working within lab environments, planning and executing testing at scale while collaborating with design engineers to improve hardware quality.
As a Hardware Validation Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating test plans, coordinating resources, and performing various types of testing including electrical, functional, performance, and reliability testing for server products. You'll work with high-speed interfaces like PCIe Gen 5/6 and DDR5, conducting electrical and protocol compliance testing.
The position offers competitive compensation with a base salary range of $147,000-$216,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
