Description For Senior Manager, K&I Trust, Product Strategy and Operations

Google's Knowledge and Information (K&I) Trust team is seeking a Senior Manager to lead product strategy and operations initiatives. This role combines strategic thinking with operational excellence to promote user trust across Google's largest products. As part of the Strategic Response for Emerging Regulations (SRFER) team, you'll work on shaping regulatory outcomes while managing cross-functional teams and projects.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management, or analytics in the tech industry. You'll be responsible for establishing and leading operating processes, influencing executive management, and driving high-impact projects to completion. The role involves working closely with Engineers, PMs, UX, and other functions to build and deliver amazing products that delight users.

You'll lead a team focused on trust domain experience and product expertise, working on stimulating topics to mitigate risk and enable innovation. The position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $208,000-$296,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Key responsibilities include managing organizational operations, leading cross-functional programs, and providing team leadership through regular performance discussions and coaching. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with tools like SQL and R, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Identify problems and issues across the organization and lead programs and processes to solve them
  • Lead a team, set and communicate persons and team priorities that support organizational goals
  • Meet regularly with teams to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching

Requirements For Senior Manager, K&I Trust, Product Strategy and Operations

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company
  • 3 years of experience managing or leading teams
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple cross-functional programs or projects
  • Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
  • Experience with R, SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytics tools (preferred)
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
