Description For Senior Product Manager, Compiler Infrastructure, Core Developer

Google's Core Developer Software Foundations (CDSF) team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their compiler infrastructure initiatives. This role sits within the Core team, which builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products and is responsible for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, and infrastructure. The position offers a unique opportunity to impact technical decisions across the company, working specifically with compilers, toolchains, and runtime systems.

The role requires a blend of technical expertise and product management skills, with a focus on improving the developer experience for Google's internal teams. You'll be working with first-party hardware, managing compiler infrastructure, and developing strategies for both ARM architecture and LLVM implementations. The position involves close collaboration with engineering leads and other product managers to define and execute long-term roadmaps.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in product management, particularly with technical products, and a strong understanding of developer tools and infrastructure. You'll be responsible for balancing various stakeholder needs while delivering measurable improvements to the developer experience. The role offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $168,000-$252,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work at the intersection of product management and technical infrastructure, making an impact on Google's development ecosystem. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on product development, requiring both technical depth and product management expertise. You'll be part of a team that's essential to Google's technical foundation, working on products that affect both internal developers and, ultimately, millions of users worldwide.
