Description For Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Security

Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Enterprise Security team, focusing on protecting users' data from internal and external threats. This role is part of the Core team, which builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. The position requires 8+ years of product management experience and deep knowledge in security domains.

The role involves developing and driving product strategy for Google's Internal/Enterprise Security products, with a particular focus on access management technologies. You'll work closely with engineering, UX, security analysts, and cross-functional partners to design and implement innovative security features that protect Google's vast infrastructure and user data.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be responsible for guiding products from conception to launch, breaking down complex problems into actionable steps, and working cross-functionally with various teams. The position offers competitive compensation ($168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits) and the opportunity to work at Google's offices in Sunnyvale, Kirkland, or New York.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management, particularly in security, privacy, or related areas. You should be skilled in developing product strategies, writing PRDs, and managing product launches. Responsibilities For Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Security

  • Develop, own, and drive product strategy and roadmap for security products, focussed on Google's Internal/Enterprise Security products
  • Drive convergence for various access management technologies at Google and build a cohesive product strategy and roadmap
  • Drive roadmap deliverables and other initiatives critical to the product success through the life-cycle
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, security analysts, and cross-functional partners to design, deliver, and land innovative security features
  • Lead and drive synergy across stakeholders to deliver product outcomes and support customer needs

Requirements For Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Security

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 3 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area
  • 5 years of experience in product management including providing product ideas and roadmaps
  • 3 years of experience in security, identity, privacy, fraud, risk, or related domains
  • Experience developing software or internet products and technologies
  • Experience leading teams with diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent diplomatic skills partnering across organizational boundaries
