Google's Core Machine Learning (ML) team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive ML excellence for Google and the world. This role focuses on the On-Device Machine Learning (ODML) initiatives within the Developer Pillar, where you'll be instrumental in building reliable, easy-to-use, and flexible tools for ML practitioners.
The position requires a strategic mind who can bridge technical complexity with practical product development. You'll be working at the intersection of machine learning and developer tools, helping to shape how ML solutions are deployed at scale in production. The role involves deep collaboration with engineering teams, Developer Relations, and UX researchers to create solutions that are both technically sophisticated and user-friendly.
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from conception to launch, with a particular focus on developer tools and infrastructure. The position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $183,000-$271,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities For Senior Product Manager, On-Device Machine Learning, Developer Pillar
- Gather requirements and define experiences for On-Device ML initiatives across developer tools
- Partner with Developer Relations and UXR to drive user interviews and understand user needs
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to define and execute roadmaps, PRDs and OKRs
- Lead prioritized execution focusing on customer needs, business outcomes, and success metrics
Requirements For Senior Product Manager, On-Device Machine Learning, Developer Pillar
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
- Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field (preferred)
- 10 years of experience in product management, with focus on developer tools or AI/ML (preferred)
- Experience taking a product from 0 to 1 and from 1 to 10
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, people management, and presentation skills
