Description For Senior Product Manager, Payments Platform Compliance

Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead their Payments Platform Compliance initiatives. This role is crucial for meeting regulatory requirements and driving business sustainability. The position focuses on building innovative capabilities for Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions Screening, and Know Your Customer (KYC) systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with Google businesses to understand regulatory compliance needs and develop product strategies.

The role involves partnering with financial compliance investigators, engineers, data scientists, and program managers to build and implement solutions. You'll be responsible for defining review tools used by analysts and exploring AI/ML applications to improve operational efficiency.   • Work on areas within Payments, Regulatory Compliance platform, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Sanctions Screening
  • Work with various business stakeholders to understand, measure, and prioritize compliance risks
  • Work with Google businesses such as Cloud or Play to understand their regulatory needs
  • Build a strategy and roadmap for reducing business and customer insult
  • Develop and manage complex and large-scale projects for the platform

Requirements For Senior Product Manager, Payments Platform Compliance

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Ability to translate product direction into technical roadmaps
  • Ability for thought leadership and building strong relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
