Senior Product Manager, Vertex Search Developer Platform

Google Cloud's Vertex AI Search team is at the forefront of next-generation search powered by and powering Generative AI. As a Senior Product Manager, you'll join an exceptional team to strengthen our search platform for developers. The role focuses on enabling developers to build high-performance, customizable, enterprise-ready search, information retrieval, and Generative AI applications.

You'll be responsible for driving strategy, creating products, and shaping the developer experience in an era where Search is more crucial than ever. The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies including agents, search engines, retrieval augmented generation, digital assistants, and recommendation systems.

The role requires deep technical expertise combined with product management skills, offering the opportunity to work with Google's world-class engineering teams and shape products that impact millions of users. You'll be part of Google Cloud's mission to accelerate digital transformation across industries, working with enterprise-grade solutions and sustainable development tools.

This position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $168,000-$252,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. You'll work in a collaborative environment, interfacing with engineering, marketing, developer relations, legal, and UX teams, while contributing to the broader Vertex Search strategy.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in product management, technical product development, and specific expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models, and Search/information retrieval. You'll need strong communication skills to engage with developers, customers, and senior leaders, plus a track record of successful product launches and cross-functional collaboration.
