Senior Security Engineer

Google Public Sector's Advanced Threat Protection team is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Security Architecture team. This role focuses on implementing secure cloud solutions and enhancing security workflows using emerging technologies like AI. The position involves performing security assessments, enabling security automation, and communicating findings to engineering and leadership.

As a Security Engineer at Google, you'll be responsible for protecting network boundaries, hardening systems against attacks, and securing sensitive data. You'll work directly with network equipment, monitor systems for threats, and collaborate with software engineers to identify and fix security vulnerabilities. The role requires expertise in security assessments, threat modeling, and incident response.
