Senior Software Developer, Google Kubernetes Engine, Anthos Networking

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) team, focusing on Anthos Networking. This role is situated within Google's cloud division, which is at the forefront of changing how billions of users interact with cloud technologies.

The position is specifically focused on the DPv2 team, which is experiencing significant growth and investment in enabling new features, scaling, and migrating legacy solutions. The team has developed expertise in critical areas including GKE 1N - Advanced Load Balancing, GKE Networking Infra for AI/ML, GKE L4 Services, DNS, Multi-Cluster Service, GKE IPv6, and dataplane scalability.

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll be working on cutting-edge container networking solutions, designing and implementing new networking features for Kubernetes and GKE. Your responsibilities will include developing network virtualization solutions for containers and engaging with the open-source community to shape the future of Kubernetes networking.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development with at least 5 years of experience, demonstrating expertise in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Knowledge of Linux networking stack and experience with virtualization technologies are crucial for this role.
