Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Observability Compliance

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Cloud Observability Compliance team. This role is crucial in making Google Cloud Observability products Enterprise ready by implementing effective and efficient, planet-scale compliance for Cloud Logging, Trace and Monitoring.

The position is based in Pittsburgh, offering a competitive salary range of $161,000-$239,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. As part of Google Cloud, you'll be working on next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide, focusing on cloud computing, distributed systems, and enterprise-grade solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C++ programming and data structures/algorithms, with at least 5 years of experience in software development. You'll need demonstrated experience in building and developing infrastructure or distributed systems, as well as a track record of testing, maintaining, and launching software products.

In this role, you'll be responsible for writing and testing code, leading design reviews, reviewing other developers' code, contributing to documentation, and troubleshooting complex system issues. You'll work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and help shape the future of Google Cloud's observability tools.
