Senior Software Engineer, Google Cloud

Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Tel Aviv, Israel. This role is critical in developing next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas from various areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile development.

As a Senior Software Engineer at Google Cloud, you will:

• Work on projects critical to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as the fast-paced business grows and evolves.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Write and test product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve complex problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (Master's or PhD preferred).
• Strong experience in software development, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven track record in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• Experience with software design and architecture.
• Leadership qualities and versatility to take on new problems across the full-stack.
