Google Cloud is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Infrastructure team. This role is critical in developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale system design, distributed computing, and various areas of computer science. You'll work on projects vital to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams as the company evolves.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions. You'll manage project priorities and deliverables, participate in design reviews, and contribute to documentation. Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure, Google Cloud

  • Write and test product or system development code
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
