Description For Senior Software Engineer, Metrics and Business Intelligence

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Metrics and Business Intelligence team, focusing on defining and executing key performance indicators that drive data-driven decision making across Google's flagship products. As part of the Core team, you'll work on the technical foundation behind products like Search, Workspace, and Gmail, building central solutions and breaking down technical barriers. The role requires expertise in data processing, ETL pipeline development, and analytics, with opportunities to impact technical decisions across the company.

The position demands strong experience in software development, data structures, and algorithms, combined with deep knowledge of SQL and data analytics. You'll be responsible for developing automated ETL pipelines, managing diverse data sources, implementing quality assurance measures, and creating informative dashboards. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of software development experience and 3 years in SQL and data analytics.
