Google's Pixel team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Display System team, focusing on creating transformative mobile experiences. This role combines Android platform development with hardware integration, working on Google's custom Tensor SoC and display technologies. You'll be responsible for the complete display stack on Pixel devices, from low-level hardware interactions to high-level feature implementation.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Pixel Display System
- Drive complete development cycles of new pixel display projects, from requirements and design through implementation and test plans
- Architect and implement features such as variable refresh rate, color management and calibration, HDR, image enhancement methods
- Collaborate closely with Android platform teams on enabling new generations of Pixel
- Develop the team's infrastructure by implementing new systems in areas such as telemetry, on-device diagnostics, and updatability
- Develop in-depth expertise in display technologies and System on Chip, and productize them in future Pixel devices
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer, Pixel Display System
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience with software development in Java or C++, and with data structures/algorithms
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products
- 1 year of experience with large scale application design and architecture
- 3 years of experience with Android application development
