Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Security and Privacy, Pixel Phone

  • Work on next generation Pixel security designs and projects
  • Harden low-level system software components critical to Pixel security
  • Research design and develop security features for future Pixel devices
  • Improve infrastructures for fuzzing, testing, CI, and develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with upstream Open Source Software projects

Requirements For Senior Software Engineer, Security and Privacy, Pixel Phone

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms
  • 5 years of experience working on embedded or phone security design and development
  • Experience in authentication, encryption, certificate management, or operating system security
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
  • 8 years of experience working on embedded or phone security design and development (preferred)
  • Experience with boot and runtime firmwares (preferred)
  • Experience with open source development and security development life cycle (preferred)
  • Experience with CPU architectures such as ARM, RISC-V, x86, MIPS (preferred)
